5 AXIS HAAS VF3 - CNC Machining Centre
Our HAAS 5 axis machining centre is specially designed for the machining of alloy cylinder heads & engine blocks. This coupled with Renishaw Digitising system is a machine capable of producing any item fast & accurately. We use it primarily for the machining of our aluminum cylinder heads which are on the cutting edge of technology. The sophisticated equipment captures the chamber & port designs & then machines the head to a true reproduction of the original. We also use this machine for squaring off blocks, decking, clearancing, boring, machining of piston tops, flat milling and 3 dimensional milling.

WINONA VAN NORMAN - Crankshaft Balancer
A balanced engine is more efficient and delivers more power & better mileage. It runs smoother & lasts longer due to less stress on the internal components. Our balancer is optical positioning & fully computerised - we balance to 0.0 gram - precision at its best.
We also have calculations for the amount of oil left on the rotating components subject also to the amount of vacuum being pulled in the engine.

SUNNEN VGS 20 - Blueprinter
Our complete cylinder head valveseat & guide blueprinting machine. Long gone are the days of the 3 angle valve job. Our minimum is 5 angles. Cylinder heads are fully blueprinted and torque plated with specially designed tooling unique only to our shop.

For very accurate flow figures-development and diagnostic. For flowing of cylinder heads, carburetors, manifolds, exhausts, and other intake & exhaust pieces.

WINONA VAN NORMAN - CBN Surfacer
For surfacing heads & engine blocks. Specially modified for exact material removeal down to 0.0000". Also tilt minmised so that perfectly flat surfaces are obtained. Not dished thru crutial gasket sealing areas.
